SISTERS OF FAITH
Dear Beloved Friends,
How do we make every moment count? Being in a full time job and also continuing ministry can become somewhat a juggling act. I have learned in the past few weeks how to balance everything a little more successfully. I am grateful that my job allows me to still travel and minister and to do what I know God has called me to do. The Proverbs 31 woman knew exactly how to handle her career and her ministry. She is a wonderful example of balance and poise.
In turn we have developed a monthly newsletter that will include ministry updates, a devotional and other features. I pray it will bless you, as it has us to prepare it for you.
This newsletter will be different. This will be your newsletter too! How can you get involved?
- If you have written a poem or a short story – you may be selected as our featured writer of the month. Feel free to send your stories and poems via email. Include them in the body of the email. Attachments will not be opened.
- Have an event coming up locally you would like to let our readers know about? Submit your event info via email and we will include it in our next monthly newsletter.
- Know of other interesting websites that our readers may benefit from? Send us a link and we will check it out!
Thanks again for all your prayers and support. We are beginning to feel the wave of revival come to the Permian Basin. God is awaking his people here and bringing spiritual refreshing. It is happening as we continue to speak God’s Word in love and boldness. He has commanded us to live holy lives. We are surrounded by religious people but not necessarily people who have been set apart from this world. There is spirit of complacency over the land. I have spoken earlier of the dry somewhat deserted area God has called us to. The physical manifestation of the region is a picture of the spiritual depravity that exists in even many of the saints.
Please pray that God will allow us to use His WORD as a refreshing rain upon this land. Paul says it is important for us to be washed in the WORD of God. ( Eph. 5:26) God has called us to be salt and light to a dying world. (Matt.5: 13-14) Salt makes us thirsty. When we are spiritually salty to others, they are thristy to hear more about God. Light reveals deeds of darkness. Are we shining our light so sin cannot abound? Remember dear sisters, darkness flees at the very presence of light!
Keep Pressing Onward!
