This song was written through a very dark hopeless time in my life. I had to come face to face with the reality that people will let you down and true friendships are hard to find. However, I discovered that when everyone was gone, Jesus was still there. I also discovered that regardless of my actions, or the actions of others, He never leaves us alone in the dark.
